SAINSBURY'S worker Andrew Pair raised £1,000 for charity through a week-long sponsored walk.
Andrew took part in Macmillan Cancer Relief's "Macmile" Challenge, which involved people being sponsored to do a mile of anything.
He walked from his Huntington home to work at Sainsbury's each day, and was sponsored by friends, relatives, customers and staff. The supermarket firm is considering a gift match, which would double the money Andrew has raised.
Macmillan Community Fundraiser Karina Stead: "Andrew wore his Macmillan T-shirt all week, and he has done really well."
