I WONDER if any of your readers have any memories of the building on Falsgrave Crescent, York, which started life in 1905 as the Burton Stone Lane Adult School?
In later years it became the Bootham School Lads' Club, and then after the Second World War the Young People's Fellowship Youth Club.
It now houses York Playspace and York Traveller's Trust.
As the centenary of the building is coming up, I would welcome any memories, anecdotes, loan of photographs of the activities in the building, in order to celebrate its varied history. They can be sent to me at the address below.
John Gilham,
Secretary, YPF committee,
c/o Friends Meeting House,
Friargate, York.
