SOLICITOR Geoffrey Rogers of Harrogate has won the right to appear in the Crown Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords after gaining the Higher Courts (Criminal Proceedings) qualification.
He has been made a Solicitor Advocate by the Law Society, allowing him to appear in the higher courts.
Mr Rogers, a partner at McCormicks in East Parade, is well known in the town for his expertise in corporate crime and general criminal law and has also won recognition in leading legal guides for his skills in family law work, particularly in work involving cross-border issues.
He also heads up McCormicks Corporate Crime and Risk Unit in Harrogate.
