AM I the only York City supporter who is astonished by Billy McEwan's reluctance to sign Jon Maloney for next season?
Maloney has made it clear that he would love to play for City and yet McEwan seems to think he can find a better central defender.
Since Maloney was one of the most impressive centre backs City have had in recent years - and he scored some crucial goals too - McEwan is either a genius or seriously deluded. Long-suffering City fans must hope it's the former.
