Hosts York College stopped Rawcliffe from claiming a fourth piece of silverware with a golden goal win in the Connexions York Girls' Football League six-a-side competition.
The Under-14 Rawcliffe side have had an outstanding season and stormed to the top of their group at the College tournament with a maximum four wins out of four to book a place in the final against group 'A' winners York College, who banged in a sudden-death winner after drawing 1-1 at full-time.
More than 250 girls aged nine to 17 took part in the end of season tournament at York College in front of a good-sized crowd.
The U10s mini-league was an emphatic success for Heworth, who posted a 100 per cent record.
The U17s title was clinched by Garforth Rangers from Heworth on the head-to-head result after identical mini-league records.
Tadcaster Albion won the U12s competition unbeaten. They topped group 'A' with five wins out of five and then saw off Brayton Belles 'A' in the final, the Belles going through on goal difference from Sherburn White Rose with a five-better score.
