LARA FAWCETT is on top of the world, but that's nothing compared to her younger brother - who joined world-famous balloonist David Hempleman-Adams in breaking the world record for the highest formal dinner party.
Lara, 38, from Tadcaster, held a family celebration at the Next Generation Club, York, to honour the achievement of her brother, Bear Grylls.
He joined Wiltshire-based explorer Hempleman-Adams, 44, and Lieutenant Commander Alan Veal, 34, who flew to a height of 24,262ft in a specially-designed balloon.
Grylls and Veal then climbed 40ft down to a formally-laid dinner table, ate a three course meal, then, in formal evening wear, saluted the Queen and sky dived back to earth.
Lara said: "I'm so proud of him. Bear called me here in York to say he and Hempleman-Adams had done it.
"He has always been this way. Since he was a boy he has always been adventurous. I must admit though this time I was a little worried.
"He said it was absolutely great, and we are over the moon for him."
