Fuel prices are going up, affecting the entire transport industry.
Fortunately, First has been able to peg its rates for pensioners, and the cost of its weekly and monthly passes.
However, any increases are regrettable at a time when York's transport policy relies heavily on persuading more of us on to the bus.
