Wigginton Primary School led the celebrations at the 20th annual Haxby Netball Club schools' tournament after taking the trophy home for a second successive year.
Seven schools did battle for the landmark tournament spoils, 20 years after Haxby chairman Val Kennedy instigated the competition to give youngsters in and around the town the chance to play, with several going on to join the club.
Teams this year came from Skelton School, Robert Wilkinson (Strensall), Ralph Butterfield (Haxby), Headlands (Haxby), St Aelred's, New Earswick and Wigginton, and all were well-supported by family and friends.
The trophy was presented to defending champions Wigginton with each winning player receiving an individual trophy plus certificates for the other schools.
