WOOD & Richardson, the York-based printer, has kicked off its centenary year in real style - a glitzy award ceremony in Monte Carlo.
The Haxby Road printer was commended for the print of its own corporate brochure in the self-promotion category, and was the only entry to be both designed and printed in-house.
The awards, hosted by national paper merchants the James McNaughton Group, are held annually and attract entrants from across the country.
Managing director, John Richardson, who attended the ceremony, said: "it's such a great start to our centenary year to be recognised for the quality of our print. After all it's what we have been doing for the past 100 years.
