DIVISION two leaders Goole Town boasted the biggest winning margin of the day at home to Rowntrees.
Knocks of 77 from S Foster, 65 from A Givens, and Hume's 46 took them to 258-3, all three wickets taken by Paul Horner.
Rowntrees suffered a torrid reply as all-rounder Hume took 6-9, reducing the visitors to a miserable 58 all out, a defeat by 200 runs.
An unbeaten century for bottom-placed Hovingham's Alastair Thorpe and 77 from Stuart Prest took their side to 244-4 at Bridlington.
But the good batting wicket eased Bridlington's way as S Garten (48), Hafiz Khalid (82no) and S Edmundson (41no) finished off the job for a seven-wicket victory.
The division's best bowling of the day was at Bolton Percy, where Scarborough's Peter Beard took 7-32 helping dismiss the home side for 87.
Scarborough also lost five wickets in reaching the winning score, Salter taking 3-47.
Ahead of their tight duel only two points divided Studley Royal and Sewerby, who produced a nail-biter.
Visitors Sewerby reached 219-6 led by M Vogle (90) and S Staveley (77).
In reply, Studley Royal began to falter as R Coates took 4-54 and S Acton 3-52. However, with a half-century from Walmsley and the grit of 16-year-old Robert Nicholson, the target drew nearer before the game finished with Studley Royal on 216-9.
At New Earswick, Dringhouses totalled scored 175-8 of which A Stainton hit 53 and D Snaith 38. P Stimpson took 3-29 and I Helmsley 3-63.
Only C Smith (35) offered any resistance in the reply in which M Kenyon (5-23) and S Ansar (4-50) reduced the home side to 114 all out, leaving them in the relegation zone.
Crayke batted first at home to Ripon and scored a miserly 99. P Carr (32) and J Light (33) were the only batsmen of note as Van Dyk put in another good bowling display of 4-19.
In reply, Ripon had no problems in gaining maximum points as C Waters (48) and P Reynolds (26) led them to an eight-wicket triumph.
