MY family and I have just spent a wonderful weekend in York and I had to tell you what a wonderful city you have.
It was so clean and neat and tidy, everyone was so helpful and friendly and made us so very welcome.
We will certainly be back because we just didn't get a chance to see all your wonderful attractions.
We also enjoyed some lovely meals in your many cafs and restaurants, but our best meal was on our last evening.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy a meal at the new restaurant at the Old Grey Mare on Clifton Green. I think it was called The Gate of India. The food was excellent and the service second to none. It was my husband's birthday and the staff all made it so special for us.
I hope their new venture does well, I shall certainly be booking a table next time we are in York. We are all looking forward to our next trip so perhaps someone could arrange some sunshine next time.
