York will field an unchanged team when they entertain Cleethorpes In the Yorkshire ECB Premier League and will be conscious that the Lincolnshire club were 2003 champions.
They are the sort of side that could endanger York's 13-point lead over Harrogate, who will be at Scarborough where the North Marine Road ground is seeing its first league match of the season after an extensive outfield renovation.
The Clifton Park club has no fixture on Sunday but forthcoming Sundays wil see Methley at Clifton Park in the second round of the Black Sheep Yorkshire Champions Cup followed by another visit from Cleethorpes in the Yorkshire League Cup.
Next Tuesday, Clifton Park will host a Second XI County Championship one- day match between Yorkshire and Debyshire.
The home county side had an emphatic victory over Lancashire earlier this week at Stamford Bridge with a side including Joe Sayers and Chris Silverwood and will be looking to maintain winning form.
Jeetan Patel, overseas player at York CC in 2003, has been selected in New Zealand's one-day squad to tour Zimbabwe later this summer.
Bowling in tandem with Dan Broadbent, he claimed 40 league victims and is enjoying a good season in first-class cricket in Wellington.
