£18,450-£19,656. H.M. Prison and Young Offenders Institution at Askham Grange near York, management and training support is given by East Leeds Children's Centre. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and creative practitioners who are sympathetic and understand the needs of the client group. The successful candidates will be working with children from birth to 18 months providing quality childcare as well as developing and supporting group work for children, parents and extended families. We are looking for committed people to join our team. You will be able to gain skills and experience in a management role. You will have knowledge of child development, child protection, OFSTED requirements and the 1989 Children's Act. You will hold an Early Years and/or Childcare qualification, B.ED, NNEB, BTEC NN, NVQ level 3, CACHE Diploma or equivalent. You will also have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying
