YORK athlete Emily Gibbons is toasting another gold medal after victory in the Regional Championships.
The Nestl Rowntree Athletic Club competitor took gold in the Under-17s girls' hammer, to go with the gold she picked up in the same event at the National Championships.
Her best throw of 39.63 metres demonstrated her consistent and excellent form over recent weeks.
In the U15 girls' 100m, Becky Campsall ran a personal best of 12.57 seconds to win her heat and then took the bronze medal in the final with a time of 12.62.
The third medallist of the weekend was Jess Taylor in the Under 20s women's 200m.
A time of 26.34sec managed to secure another bronze medal for the York runner.
Other good performances from York athletes in other events came from Kieran Smith, Alastair Smith, Morgan Bell and Charlotte Maxted.
