KNIGHTS coach Mick Cook is set to make second-row switches for tomorrow's game against Blackpool, writes Peter Martini.
The experienced Mick Ramsden will return for only his second start of the season, with Darren Callaghan sitting this one out, thus ending the last remaining ever-present tag this term.
Hunslet loanee Shaun Ibbetson will come in for his debut as a straight swap on the bench for James Ward, who is unavailable due to commitments arranged before he signed.
John Smith is likely to return to the front row, with David Bates dropping to the bench, while hooker Lee Jackson is set to start this week with Jim Elston a substitute.
As reported yesterday, Scott Rhodes is ruled out so Cook will keep captain Chris Levy and Paul Thorman at half-back, thus starting with the same half-back combination in consecutive matches for only the fourth time this season.
Bottom-club Blackpool welcome the return of veteran half-back Willie Swann and centre Tommy Grundy as they attempt to build on the more positive performance against Workington.
"This is another tough game, but we played very well against Workington and that should put us in good stead to face York,'' said manager Kevin Ashcroft.
