HOSTS Bishopthorpe FC fittingly won the veterans' five-a-side football competition.
The event, contested by a dozen teams, was in memory of 42-year-old Andrew Burnett, who died of a heart attack after Bishopthorpe over-35s' first game of the season.
It was his former team who lifted the Andrew Burnett Trophy after Bishopthorpe beat Huntington 2-0 in the final with goals from Mark Henderson and Mark Coxon.
