A YORK man died when his car left a road and collided with a tree.
Police have asked for the public's help to find out what caused the accident in East Yorkshire.
The 25-year-old, who has not yet been named by police, was pronounced dead at the scene of the tragedy near Sancton, half -a-mile south-east of Market Weighton.
A Humberside Police spokeswoman said he was the driver of a silver Citroen Xsara on the A1034 when he appeared to have lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle was also badly damaged.
She said the vehicle left the road and hit a tree on Saturday, at about 7.30am. The accident occurred near to Sykes Farm as the man travelled towards South Cave.
