I HAD to go to York Hospital's casualty department the other day after a minor accident left me with a tiny fragment of steel embedded in my eyeball.
After a thorough examination I was then taken to the eye clinic. Again I was examined and told that, because the fragment of steel was so deep, I would have to go on to the eye ward and have a minor operation.
Yet again another thorough examination. Within two hours of going on to the eye ward I was in and out of the theatre and on my way home.
I was so impressed with the 100 per cent service I received I had to write this letter. Keep up the high standards and many thanks to all the staff with whom I was involved.
