THE York City Board had no option but to freeze prices for next season.
Who in their right minds would pay more to watch the rubbish that was dished out last season?
I reckon half the 900 letters Billy McEwan has personally signed urging fans to get season tickets will go straight in the bin. A better option would be to let everybody buy an under-12s season ticket for £29.
A lot of fans will go on a pay at the turnstile basis next season, so let's hope we get off to a good start. If we don't people like myself will drift away and go fishing or playing golf or take up some other pastime, and it will be difficult to get them back.
