I HAVE lived in York for ten years and have come to love the city and the area.
I am not a prude. But while I know lap dancing goes on I don't expect it to happen in York ('Royal Sex-Cot', May 21).
It is certainly not appropriate for a royal meeting. While Prince Andrew or Prince Philip might not mind, I think the Queen would.
With the girls charging £1,000 a time, I can't believe it's just for a dance. I am going to Royal Ascot at York but as a wheelchair user I will not be able to walk away from it.
There must be a law to prevent this happening. As Edmund Burke said, for evil to exist it just requires good men to do nothing.
