New Earswick All Blacks claimed this year's best club in York crown after beating York Acorn 22-3 in the final of the Accident Cup.
Excellent defence kept the scores blank until New Earswick scrum half Ben Jones broke the deadlock with a piece of magic as he sidestepped three players to go over for a try.
On the half hour mark, stand-off Liam Gargan sent Paul Dooley clear, Jones converting from the touchline to make it 10-0.
Pennine League division four winners Acorn 'A' posted their first points on the board with a penalty by Craig Fox, while Dean Crump slotted over a drop goal soon after the restart.
But there the Acorn points dried up as All Blacks ran in the try of the game to rule out any chance of a comeback. Gargan sent Jez Petch racing away before off-loading to Dooley to sprint clear from 40 yards out.
On 68 minutes, Jamie Rhodes went over for his first of two tries with outstanding prop and man of the match Eddie Keeping creating the second.
York City Knights and former Acorn star Darren Callaghan made the presentations, while All Blacks Jamie Daniel, Petch and Carl Pallister, Acorn first team prop Adam Endersby and veteran Barry Fox were all commended for their performances.
