Newly-promoted Easingwold were one of three division three sides to romp home by ten wickets after dismissing Acomb for 128.
Paul Hemmingway, with 54 and Andy Sturdy (34) appeared to have laid the foundation for a big home total with an opening stand of 93. But then came a collapse of huge proportions as Andy Metcalfe (4-6) and Mark Roberts (4-26) sent all ten wickets crashing for a mere 35 runs.
Facing a total of 128, Easingwold's openers James Banks and Gary Sanders completed the task flawlessly. The 18-year-old Banks dominated with 80 not out, while Sanders supported with an undefeated 43.
In contrast to the near uniform run-feasts, the division five game at Huntington saw all 20 wickets fall for a mere 193 runs to the chagrin of the home team who lost by seven runs to Bolton Percy.
John Lawrenson (26) and John White (29) had a modicum of success for Bolton but the half-way smiles rested with a trio of Huntington bowlers after Mick Storey (3-44), Wally Baynes (4-44) and Stuart Watson (3-11) had toppled Bolton for exactly 100.
Huntingon stalwart Len Watson made 40 but Henry Houseman took 3-36 and Mike Furze (3-24) as Huntington became one of only two sides on the day to fall below the 100-run mark, bowled out for 93.
