York and District Citizens Advice Bureau is the lead bureau in delivering
an Independent Complaints and Advocacy Service for the NHS,
across the Yorkshire and Humberside region. There is a vacancy for the post of Regional Support Worker in this service.
REGIONAL SUPPORT WORKER (ICAS) 37 hours per week. Salary: Local Authority Scale 6 £20,294 - £21,652) plus 6% pension contribution. Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2006 with a possible extension. The successful candidate will be able to combine strong office skills with an ability to produce statistical information and reports, this will involve the need to have excellent communication skills both in writing and on the telephone. The post will also require the ability to travel across the region.
