FIVE members of this year's York and District schools' combined events girls' team will be Queen Margaret's pupils.
The Escrick-based school's girls qualified to represent the district at the Inter-Areas competition later this month by clinching top-four finishes at the Huntington Stadium heat.
Isabella Hill won the junior section and will be joined in the team by fellow Margaret's pupils Anna Wilson (third) and Harriet McKenna (fourth).
The intermediate section was won by Mathilda Clark with QMS' Rosanna Keith also qualifying in fourth place.
Meanwhile, the school's netball teacher Annabel Pocock has been named North Yorkshire's Senior Player of the Year.
She was presented with the prestigious award at the recent county netball awards evening.
As well as representing the county, Pocock also plays netball for the York and West Yorkshire Super Leagues.
