WE must congratulate Hugh Bayley on his victory at the polls. The York electorate have put their trust in him for a further term.
He has not been an absent MP and has done as much as any constituent MP can do for his electorate personally.
I know that he really does represent all of the people in York and respects other people's views. He will do his best for the city as the York MP.
I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and everyone who voted at all, as it is our democratic duty to elect the people who govern our country. Long may we be governed from Westminster.
Richard Jackson,
UKIP chairman,
St Stephens Road,
York.
