APRIL power has inched Kilnwick Percy GC's Peter Williamson into an anxious vigil.
He is now awaiting confirmation of the venue for the regional final of the Hall of Fame championship, which is in aid of Cancer Research UK, after he won Kilnwick's April medal division one with a nett 66 off a handicap of seven. Graham Martin was second on 67, while the division two winner was Phil Ridsdale 69 on count-back from Ken George and Keith Bryan.
Williamson, Mark Gatenby, Paul Hawkett and Craig Martin had the best gross of 59 in Bank Holiday Texas scramble. James Haigh, Matthew Coe, Kalum Horne and Michael Dennington hit the best nett of 56.
The East Riding Union of Golf Clubs' Millennium stableford qualifier saw Andy Kendall take the division one prize (scratch to 11 handicap), Graham Martin division two (12-15) and Chris Buckle division three. All three go into next month's final at Skidby Lakes.
