POCKLINGTON RUFC prop Matt Webber is in demand.
Both England Universities and the Yorkshire senior side wanted him in their squad this weekend.
Webber, 21, from Laytham, near Seaton Ross, has had to put his county call on ice while gaining his third England Universities cap against Combined Services Under-21s at Twickenham today.
Webber played at Twickenham in the British Universities cup final last week and had a starring role for Loughborough University, scoring two tries in their 19-16 win over Hartpury College.
Yorkshire's selectors wanted Webber for today's county championship encounter with Northumberland at Harrogate.
Barring injury, Webber also hopes to turn out tomorrow when Pocklington bring down the curtain on the season at Percy Road with their annual President's XV game (2pm ko).
Pocklington's players will jet out in a fortnight's time for two games in Barcelona.
