York City Knights added to their top-of-the-table status last week after having the most players in the LHF Healthplan National League Two team of the month.
As reported last week, double Evening Press player-of-the-month winner Adam Sullivan also claimed the league award.
And he was joined in the team of the month by three other Knights to put York at the top of that table too.
Centre Dan Potter, winger Peter Fox and second row giant Ian Kirke were all rewarded for consistently high performances, with Jim Elston just missing out to Hunslet Hawks hooker Mark Cass.
Swinton Lions have three players in the squad in winger Marlon Billy, centre Lee Patterson and loose forward Lee Marsh. Hunslet and Dewsbury have two each - fullback George Raynor and Cass for the Hawks, with Rams' stand-off Francis Maloney and prop Mark Hawksley.
Workington's Tane Manihera at scrum half and second row Gary Smith of Blackpool Panthers complete the line-up.
Sheffield, Gateshead, Keighley and London have no representatives.
So if the league was decided on who's got the best players, the table would look like this with actual league position in brackets: 1 Knights (1), 2 Swinton (2), 3 Dewsbury (3), 4 Hunslet (5), 5 Workington (4), 6 Blackpool (7), 7 Keighley (6), 8 Sheffield (8), 9 Gateshead (9), 10 London (10).
Viva rasp Vegas
Anyone who phoned up St Helens to book their tickets for last night's game in advance will have come off the blower with a smile on their face.
Larger-than-life Saints fan and comedian Johnny Vegas is the rasping voice with the options on the automated call direction index.
Some of the options include: "For ticket sales and general enquiries, such as do fish know when it's raining, press one now.
"For the superstore, which I remind you does not sell milk and bread, press two."
Welcome repeats
Knights fans have got a chance to relive either the momentous 42-31 win over Keighley or the 60-10 thrashing of Sheffield Eagles at the next supporters' club video night on Thursday.
Also showing will be the latest edition of Inside the Knights and a glimpse at the bad boys of the game if there is time.
The stadium bar opens at 7.30pm and entry is £1.
