IS there no end to the follies perpetrated on our once-beautiful city by our council?
The construction of Bavarian pubs and shops in Parliament Street was unbelievable.
Were local publicans and shopkeepers consulted? I doubt it. Yet they must have lost a large amount of trade. Do we residents need people rocking round the city under the influence of strong Bavarian beer? I think not.
Could the council advise the Press how much it will be receiving in rent and rates and whether this money will be used to reduce council tax?
