Dringhouses won the York FA Saturday Senior Cup when they beat Huntington Rovers 1-0 in the final at Tockwith.
The first clear chance fell to Dringhouses midfielder Craig McShane, who blasted the ball wide.
John Lake then went close to scoring for Dringhouses, forcing Huntington 'keeper Steve Mayers into a brilliant one-handed save.
Huntington's Iain Dunn jinked his way through the Dringhouses defence before shooting just wide of the right-hand post.
Following a great run, Dringhouses' Lee Bond missed an open goal.
Huntington were being stretched in defence, but just before half-time a shot by their centre forward Chris Dyson produced a tremendous save from Dringhouses 'keeper Mick Conlon.
There were few chance in the first period of the second half, but with 20 minutes remaining the deadlock was broken with a great goal.
Following a good move down the Dringhouses right the ball fell to James Bonarious, whose through-ball cut Huntington's defence. The ball went into the path of Lee Atkinson, who rounded Huntington's 'keeper with ease before placing the ball into an empty net.
McShane then hit the bar with Huntington 'keeper Mayers beaten. Huntington pushed for an equaliser but an outstanding Dringhouses defence held firm.
The Faber Trophy was presented to the winning captain by Roy Ellwood, president of York City and District FA.
