I AGREE with those who write positively about York Hospital.
In March I was rushed into hospital, thankfully for a day's treatment, and I can only praise staff.
The nurses were very understanding to my low pain threshold regarding needles, and the consultant introduced himself and shook my hand. I praise all who work in the emergency day unit and patients' waiting lounge.
More recently I visited the hospital with my daughter after a bad fall. We were seen within 15 minutes. Eighteen months ago the treatment waiting time was the same. All the staff were kind, understanding and put both my daughter and me at ease.
The staff and treatment are great, please stop knocking them.
