York City Rowing Club's men's squad won three events at the Nottingham City Regatta at the National Watersports Centre.
York's Men's Senior 2 coxed four of captain Dave Heffernan, Charlie Heise, Dan Beaumont and Andy Wilkinson, coxed by Helena Smalman-Smith outclassed their opposition, leading their final from the start to win by nine seconds.
The Men's Senior 2 eight put out a slight;ly different combination of Heise, Heffernan, Beaumont, Wilkinson, Will Todd, George Scott, Richard Smalman-Smith and James Blissett and were once again coxed to victory by Helena Smalman-Smith to win over the shorter 1,000m course by two seconds.
Despite qualifying for the six-boat final in second place, the Men's Senior 2 eight, rowed down their opposition over the 2,000 metre course to win from Irish club Neptune.
Rowing in their new boat, the Senior Women's eight finished third in their final. They have had a good season, finishing 21st out of 249 crews at the Women's Head of the River in London earlier in the year.
YCRC also provided three crews for the 19-boat Yorkshire team at the Junior Inter Regional Regatta held at Nottingham.
The Women's Under 15 Double Scull of Katherine Fowler and Emily Shaw produced the region's best performance with a bronze medal.
They improved significantly on last year when they won the J14 Petite Final.
This time they rowed an extremely well-judged race in the 1,500 metre long six-boat final. Coming from the back of the field after 500 metres they fought their way to second spot 100m from the line but just missed out on the silver by a second, in a time of six min 53 seconds.
Women's Under 16 Double scullers Danielle Lewis and Sarah Pitcher came fourth in the Grand Final in their fourth race of the day in difficult headwind conditions.
Although the York City Women's Junior Under 16 Quadruple Scull were second in their semi final, they were pushed into the Petite Final as a result of faster times in another semi. In the Petite Final they won by a comfortable two lengths in a time which would have put them fifth in the Grand Final.
York City rowers will next be in action at the York Spring Regatta on the Ouse from St Peter's School to Lendal Bridge on May 7.
