I AM utterly disgusted at the treatment of Paul Stancliffe by the board at York City.
The reasons given for his departure are pathetic. Are the board living in the real world?
Telling a person he must be based in York when he only lives less than one hour away is ridiculous. Are they going to make players move house, when we know that some live as far as the Midlands.
May I thank Paul for everything he has done at York City, for being a great player in the early 1990s when he appeared at Wembley.
He has been a faithful servant and deserves better treatment. But no matter who runs the club, some things never change.
