York's parking charges are too expensive. When I visited recently I had several calls to make around the city to pick up parcels so I first parked at St Mary's car park.
Then I moved to Monk Bar car park, to Piccadilly (to place an advert in the Evening Press) then on to Nunnery Lane.
I moved car parks was because I had too many parcels to carry in one go. How about an all-day parking charge where you could move from car park to car park without paying extra charges? I am sure people in and around York, and commercial travellers, would welcome this and it could bring extra cash to the council.
