TORY leader Michael Howard hit out at the council tax. This is a bit rich from a man who was deeply involved in its introduction to replace the infamous community charge (poll tax), also one of his babies.
Neither does he say what they would replace it with but I doubt it will be a higher tax on the filthy rich.
His immigration policy also appears rather strange, considering his family were Jewish refugees from Hitler. "Hypocritical" is the word to describe these policies.
Perhaps he should go round English hotels a little more. He would find that most of the staff are people from Eastern Europe, as well as Spain and Italy.
They are very hardworking and polite, doing a job most of our fellows out of work consider beneath them.
