Malton trainer Richard Fahey, who had two winners at Beverley last week, returns to the Westwood course tomorrow with excellent prospects of adding to his scoresheet.

Fahey saddles Boppys Princess in the Len Cowburn GRIY Retiremement Fillies' Handicap.

Paul Hanagan's mount is my Nap selection to gain her first win of the season.

A five-times winner last term, when she went from strength to strength, Boppys Princess looks sure to add to her tally this year on the evidence of her latest effort.

Last week at Beverley she finished third, beaten by only a neck and a head, in a 19-runner handicap race.

Boppys Princess hardly needs to improve much on that effort to clinch victory tomorrow.

John Dunlop sends Munsef up from Sussex to contest the Constant Security Maiden Stakes and Richard Hills' mount will be hard to beat.

Munsef was narrowly denied by the Mark Johnston-trained Tarraman, a highly-regarded colt, at Doncaster's Lincoln meeting last month and is likely to be at short odds to go one better this time.

The expected soft ground at Beverley should suit Dara Mac in the Go Racing In Yorkshire Season Ticket Handicap.

A good money-spinner for Neville Bycroft's Norton yard, the six-year-old, who is likely to have benefitted from a comeback outing last week, should not be overlooked.

Andy Turnell, Bycroft's neighbour, has an interesting runner in the Shepcote of Driffield Marzipan Fruits Handicap in Blue Bajan, the mount of Adrian Nicholls.

A winner on the sand at Wolverhampton on his final run last year, Blue Bajan met trouble in running on the same course last month.

Back on turf tomorrow, he does not look at all badly handicapped and I anticipate him making a bold bid for victory.

Sandra McCarthy, sister of Grand National-winning trainer Willie Mullins, enjoyed a success of her own as an owner when the North Yorkshire-trained Why Now, carried her colours to victory in the Betfred Maiden Stakes at Southwell yesterday.

The filly, trained by Kevin Ryan at Hambleton, was ridden by Neil Callan and went in front after the first of the six furlongs. She hung badly right in the closing stages but Callan kept the 4-1 chance going to beat Sharaby by three lengths.

William Tell and Mahmjra, took trainer Mick Channon's tally to nine winners in the last 15 days.

Thursday's tips:
