STAFF and pupils at a York primary school are celebrating after getting two new classrooms.
The new rooms at Badger Hill Primary are both equipped with whiteboards, and will be used to teach Years Five and Six, and replace a temporary block.
Acting head Ruth Baxter said: "We have been teaching in the classrooms since January and they have had quite an impact on school life.
"The fact that they are linked to the school building makes a huge difference and both the staff and kids think they are fantastic."
The rooms were designed so that they can double up for community use and after school clubs.
