SOUTH Milford's Lesley Booth retained her York Ladies Veterans' Squash Championship title with a comfortable final victory over team-mate Caroline Wyatt.
Top seed Booth had complete control in the opening two games, winning 9-4 9-3. Booth seemed to be on her way to overall victory when she led 5-2 in the third game but third seed Wyatt gained serve and took the game 9-5.
Booth restored her dominance in the fourth game, winning 9-2 to wrap up the title in 40 minutes.
The individual success provided South Milford with a double celebration as they have also won division one of the York Ladies Squash League, ending Thirsk I's six-year reign at the top.
In the plate final, Rosey Taylor beat Jackie Sedgwick 10-8 9-6 9-2 in half an hour.
