YOUR newspaper is full of the £30 million plea to save York Minster's East Window, but there is no information on this subject inside the building and, in particular, beside the window itself.
When I visited last week there were lots of tourists gazing up at the East Window. But they don't read local papers and did not know about the appeal. I asked them.
