CHRIS Greenwood's report says consideration is being given to providing a dedicated wall somewhere for graffiti "artists" to produce their work (April 13).
Surely this is impractical. Where could it be so that it was accessible to them all? How long would it be before it was full up?
Why make more situations which would need supervision? It is likely that some would not bother to go to dedicated site, why should they?
Consider what has happened where efforts have been made for places such as skate parks, which were trashed soon after being provided.
The best solution to the problem is zero tolerance.
