Nestl Rowntree will be making a quick return to the Leeper Hare top-flight after they won the division one title in style.

They beat runners-up St John's College 4-0 with goals from Danny Gray (3) and Tom Matthews.

Nestl are now unbeaten in 14 games, which includes nine clean sheets.

And that defensive meanness was typified by the agility of goalkeeper Andrew Sykes as he tips a student effort over the crossbar.

New Earswick chalked up their third consecutive home draw when they shared the points with visitors Wilberfoss in a 2-2 draw. John Parkin gave Foss the lead but Richard Marshall equalised within a minute. Nick Palfrayman restored their lead but the home side drew level again with a John Chandiyanba penalty 14 minutes from time.

Post Office are virtually safe from the drop after winning at Norwich Union 5-3.

Roger Osbourne gave the hosts the lead inside three minutes but Post Office stamped their authority on the game with goals from Richard Wells, Stephen Lloyd, Michael Cooper, Danny Adams and an own goal. In the final ten minutes Norwich reduced the arrears with a Matt Hildon penalty and an own goal.
