DOUBLE-CHASING New Earswick All Blacks Rugby League Club Under-12s have made sure of the Yorkshire Junior League U12s division three crown thanks to a 32-6 victory at title rivals Milford Marlins.
Man of the match Liam Dawson scored a hat-trick and fellow centre Joe Dey a brace as All Blacks took their unbeaten run to 21 games.
Other tries came from Louis Pool and substitute David Smith. Dean Layton added two goals.
The victory came after New Earswick won 40-0 at Selby Warriors with tries from Dey, Pool (2), Joel Johnson, Keiron O'Mally, Layton and Jake Mawer, with Layton adding six goals.
New Earswick play in the Yorkshire U12s Cup semi-final this weekend.
York Acorn U14s are on course for the Yorkshire Junior League U14s division three title after they went top with one game to go following an 18-4 win at Churwell Chiefs.
A great defensive display set the platform, while Billy Clint was the hero at the other end with a hat-trick and one conversion.
Tyler Dawson scored a hat-trick as York Acorn U13s' won 30-20 at East Leeds.
Stuart Leeke scored twice, with Josh Mortimer and Josh Peacock also crossing, while man of the match Antony Chilton added a conversion. Other good performances came from Kyle Myers, Mathew Winn, James Mountford, Mike Kellet and Ricky James.
York Acorn U11s conceded two tries in the last five minutes to lose 18-6 to West Leeds.
Ryan Gallacher scored Acorn's try and conversion. Gallacher and Danny Atkins were Acorn's men of the match.
Gallagher also scored in the 30-24 defeat against Methley when Tim Winn and Ryan Duffell also scored tries. Goals were kicked by Gallacher, Duffell, Jordan lawrence and Danny Atkins.
New Earswick U13s dominated throughout to win 28-4 at Allerton.
All Blacks tries came from Matty Gell (2), Dan Perkins, man of the match Craig Richardson and Josh Evans, with Perkins adding four goals. Top tackler was Chris Chaplin, while the most improved player was Josh Bellwood.
The previous week they came from behind to win 33-14 at West Leeds with tries by Gell, Chaplin, Kyle Lowson and Richardson. Perkins added conversions and a drop goal and Josh Cunningham-Evans also converted one.
The top tackler was Nathan Tupman and most improved player was Leigh Garside.
Liam Lowson scored four tries as New Earswick U9s proved their skills against Drighlington. Other tries came from Kieron Parker (2), most improved player Natasha Turner (2) and Lewis Deighton, who also topped the tackle count.
Man of the match Matthew Gaunt scored a hat-trick but could not stop a depleted Selby Warriors U10s losing for the first time in four matches, 44-26 to Scarborough Pirates.
Other Selby tries came from top tackler E J Mills (2) and Sam Parkin. The most improved player was Josh Burton.
Heworth U9s, featuring six under-8 players, gave unbeaten Featherstone Lions U9s a run for their money. Man of the match James Dunhill scored two tries, while Jack Garrity topped the tackle count and notched a try and Mathew Greaves was most improved. Debutants Matthew Heels, Billy Sturdy and Jon Rawsthorne also impressed, with the latter scoring a try.
Zoe King scored a hat-trick as New Earswick U8s had a fine game at Beeston Broncos. Charlie Hill also crossed while Ryan Price was man of the match. Top tackler was Sam Lewis and most improved was Thomas Mulholland.
New Earswick U15s Girls narrowly lost to a more experienced Shawcross.
Emily Platt scored her first try for the team, and Kerry Richmond, who booted a goal. Other tries came from Fairclough and Chelsea Moore, with Young and Kim Barron adding goals.
