UK soul diva Terri Walker is a lady with a big voice and loads of sass.
When the operatically-trained singer burst on to the scene in 2003 with her Mercury-nominated debut album Untitled, her confident and intelligent blend of British R&B and soul marked her out.
Follow-up L.O.V.E sees Walker once again flawlessly blending the sounds of the classic soul stars with the attitude of modern nu-soul sisters, but with a much more polished - and commercial - finish.
Three opening hard hitters - The Time Is Now, L.O.V.E and five-star single Whoopsie Daisy - show what Terri is capable of but, unfortunately, she lapses into the Americanised schmaltz of What The Hell and The Women You Want. Still a shining British talent to watch, nonetheless.
