YOUR report on City of York's scrutiny board review of the housing allocations process may have given the impression the report was written by one councillor (March 30).
In fact the document is the product of a small cross party panel with the final, officer-drafted, report reflecting a consensus of views.
The proposals must now be tabled with the council's executive which may accept or modify them.
Coun David Livesley,
Chairman, housing scrutiny board,
Lang Road,
York.
