YORK-based Acorn Commercial Finance is capping a successful year by expanding its team.
The latest addition to the independent advisers is Nick Holliday, 29, who joins as a broker after five years with Christies First.
Acorn specialises in securing funding for business start-ups in the licensed, hospitality and leisure trades through its Publoans service and in the care sector through loans4care. The firm works with clients across the UK from its base at Clifton Moor.
In his new role Mr Holliday will provide independent advice and guidance to Acorn customers, helping people who want to purchase licensed, leisure or hospitality businesses to raise the funds they need.
Operating within the established NACFB code of conduct, he will use Acorn's contact network to secure the right finance package for every Publoans customer, as well as providing them with links to other professional service specialists in the licensed trade.
