BURNLEY Football Club's growing relationship with Easingwold Town juniors was strengthened with a three-day coaching course at the village club.
Coaches from the Championship team's leisure and community department visited Easingwold where 70 of the club's youngsters were given expert training.
Prizes such as trophies and football were also presented and each child received a Burnley leisure shirt.
The link with Burnley has been established by former Easingwold players and brothers Keith and Kevin Hollingrake, of Hunters Estate Agents, who currently sponsor the Lancashire club.
Sixty Easingwold youngsters were also recently invited to the Burnley v Leeds United match, where they were treated to a tour of Turf Moor as well as having lunch.
The two Burnley ventures also raised £500 for Easingwold, who will apply for a £350,000 Football Foundation grant in April to buy more land and build a new club house.
Easingwold currently have 250 young footballers on their books.
