BASKETBALL players at Lady Lumley's School, Pickering, are reaching for the sky.

Their Under-19 team have made it through to the National Finals against Wycliffe School, Gloucestershire, and Holy Trinity School at the Jesse Boot Centre, Nottingham on Saturday.

They booked their place with a 58-30 victory at Sir Thomas More School, North Shields, this week.

The Lady Lumley's squad is Tom Waddington (capt), David Lawal, Oliver Thornton, Richard Buck, Scott Da Silva, Ben Pickles, Ed Wharton, Dan Smith, Billy Eldridge and Calum McGuire.
