THREE first-half goals gave Kirkbymoorside the launch pad to their first silverware of the season as they beat Filey Town 4-0 in the Scarborough and District FA Harbour Cup final.
Filey threatened first but Anthony Barnett broke the deadlock at the other end with a 20th-minute penalty after Lee Alexander was chopped down in the box.
The lead doubled seven minutes later when Alex Strickland nipped round the stranded Filey 'keeper and Andrew Hodgson added a third just before the break.
More chances went begging in the second half until Daman Cox scored in stoppage time. Senior Scarborough FA vice-president Bob Pettitt presented the trophy.
Union Rovers moved top of the the RJF Homes Beckett Football League first division after a nail-biting 3-2 win against unlucky Duncombe Park.
Second-bottom Duncombe took the lead through Nick Allenby. Union levelled with a Richard Abbey header before going ahead with a second. Park then equalised with a goal by Polish Rob but Paul Downes secured maximum points for Union.
Aislaby made sure of third place in first division with a 1-0 defeat of Rosedale - their seventh straight win. Adam Hornby got his 20th goal of the season to get the points.
Steven Sailes fired in a hat-trick for Black Swan Pickering in their 3-1 win over Thornton-le-Dale.
The first half ended goalless thanks to a brilliant save by stand-in Swan 'keeper Marc Dobson but the second half was all Sailes with a header, a 25-yarder and a late penalty after Rob Beever was brought down. Jeff Quilter had made it level at 1-1 by flicking a corner goalward for Thornton.
Matty Gardner bagged the man-of-the-match award after his four goals sealed the division two championship for Ryedale Sports Club in a 5-1 thrashing of St Clement's WMC. His first-half hat-trick was added to by Andy Rouph to complete the score.
Slingsby lost Mike Connell with a suspected dislocated shoulder and the match against Coxwold. James Turton, Nick Thorn and Gavin Watt scored in the 3-0 win to finish third.
Norton United Reserves ended their season on a high by beating Ampleforth 2-0 thanks to Simon Adams and Dan Meegan.
George Cooper and Michael Brown had Old Malton 3rds cruising at half time but a Gary Stamper effort on his return from injury plus two more by young sub Jonathan Bointon swung the game in Gillamoor's favour until Lee Millburn snatched a late equaliser.
