A series of mishaps has seen several of their talented, energetic cast crocked and scarred.
Wayward Frisbees, over-zealous football matches and other unfortunate accidents have laid low some of the star performers of One Night In Variety.
But members of the New Earswick Lads And Girls Brigade are nothing if not troupers. Their show will go on.
Mercifully it is being staged at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre - just a short hobble from York Hospital A&E.
