WITH reference to Anne Cheldon's letter about the Green Cross Code man (April 8), I did a TV spot with him about two years ago where he was attempting to revive the road safety campaign but it didn't seem to get much beyond the London area.
Dave Prowse (also the man who played Darth Vader) was prepared to travel all over the country on a new campaign but it seemed to just grind to a halt.
